About the role:
The Transition Analyst will be responsible for implementing process and change to facilitate the introduction of services or systems into a new or existing live environment. Working within the Service Operations team to ensure that projects and continual service improvement activities for both internal and 3rd parties are communicated and meet the agreed expectations of the businesses, customers and users. 
This will include control of the change activity alongside tracking of the asset database to ensure that process and equipment is utilised effectively as a result of any implementation.

The Transition Analyst should ensure all modifications to operational environments and processes can be planned, coordinated and delivered through the service transition processes and activities, to facilitate a smooth transition to live operation.

Collaboration / Co-operation
Be responsible for ensuring the successful transition of services from the initial business requirements into Support
Establish and build positive working relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external of the Society 
Ensure that co-operation and liaison is maintained with all internal support teams
Drive a culture of Continual Service Improvement, to ensure that all lessons learned, and best practices are captured and shared

Manage Business and IT expectations through appropriate communications, reporting, assurance and governance
Ensure consistent and appropriate communication with the Business and IT for service and project related issues

To own and deliver services and projects in conjunction with the Business / IT within the agreed budget and specification
To be able to recommend and suggest ways to adapt or reuse solutions that exist across the society while reducing costs

Create and manage service transition plans for the identification, co-ordination and tracking of all service readiness activities
Create and manage knowledge transfer plan to ensure the new service or project is supported with the right level of knowledge and documentation

Ensure that the new service has been tested sufficiently prior to go Live
Integrates with working teams to ensure that all lessons learned, and best practices are captured and shared

About You:

Graduate with computer-related degree or equivalent
At least 3 years expert IT experience, with relevant process and function implementation experience
Business acumen and proven track record of customer service
Experience in negotiation and influencing stakeholders
ITIL v3 foundation certification
Self-starter – able to work independently with minimal or no supervision; 
Strong customer focus - committed to providing a first-class customer service;
